PRELIMS | AUG 16TH
COMMUNITY ROUND

6 Challenges

20 Minute Time Limit
-
Each challenge has its own specific criteria

All athletes on the course at the same time
-
0.5 points per completed challenge
-
Speed bonus awarded if multiple competitors complete all challenges.
-
EXAMPLE: Three competitors complete all 6 challenges
-
1ST: 4.0 points
-
2ND: 3.5 points
-
3RD: 3.0 points
-

-
Tied competitors who complete less than 6 challenges will be ranked by how quickly they completed their total number of challenges
SEMI FINALS | AUG 17TH
TIME ROUND

5 Challenges

2 Minute time limit

Each challenge has its own specific criteria

One athlete on the course at a time
-
Competitors who haven't performed yet must wait in isolation and cannot watch others have their turn
-
1.0 points per completed challenge
-
1.0 speed bonus point for the athlete who completes all 5 challenges the fastest.
FINALS | AUG 18TH
CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND

Attempts in rotation

Each competitor makes an attempt until all have gone, then the next set of attempts begin

Each challenge is worth:​

One bang: 4.0 points​
-
2nd attempt: 3.5 points

3rd attempt: 3.0 points

All 3 days scores are added together to determine the final ranking​

Partial completions in the Finals may be used to break ties

Whomever was judged as being closer to finishing a challenge

SPEED
PRELIMS & SEMI FINALS | AUG 16TH & 17TH

Start and finish points are marked by laser gates or touch pads

Competitors trigger their own start

Checkpoints must be navigated in a specific order

Red Flags must stay to the competitors' right side

Yellow Flags must stay to the competitors' left side

Each competitor gets one official run

Top 8 competitors qualify for the Semi Finals
FINALS | AUG 18TH

Top 5 competitors qualify for the Finals

Competitors practice in isolation

Each competitor gets two official runs
-
Only the fastest of their two runs contributes to their total score​

Start/Finish and Checkpoint rules are the same as in the prior rounds of competition​
ALL ROUNDS SCORING

Speed courses are scored by rank point

Rank point differences double each day

Prelims - 0.5 point per ranking​

Semi Finals - 1.0 point per ranking

Finals - 2.0 points per ranking

Scores from all 3 days of competition are added together​

Total time is used to decide final rank if competitors tie in rank points
STYLE
PRELIMS | AUG 16TH
COMBO ROUND

3 zones: 1 combo in each zone
-
A combo is 2 - 3 moves
-
Strict connections
-
Maximum of 2 foot contacts between moves​

Cannot do two filler moves in a row
-
Example moves: roll, ground kong, scoot, kong up, cartwheel, etc​

All competitors get one attempt before moving to the next zone​​

Combos are judged on the following criteria:

Difficulty (Scale, Connection, Progression, Obstacle Interaction)​
-
Composition (Less filler, more substance)
-
Execution (Clean landings and/or unique style)
-
Variety (of skills and structures)
-

Competitors are ranked after each zone based on overall impression (no scores are given)​
-
Final ranks will be awarded rank points
-
0.2 point difference between rankings​
-
Eg. 1st: 10.0​, 2nd: 9.8, 3rd: 9.6

SEMI FINALS | AUG 17TH
LINE ROUND

Top 8 competitors qualify
-
Competitors will construct one style line using the any part of the field of play
-
There is no length requirement, but a line should be longer than a combo
-
Competitors are encouraged to keep their line under 10 seconds​
-
-
They get one attempt to perform their line
-
Lines are judged on the following criteria:
-
Difficulty (Scale, Connection, Progression, Obstacle Interaction)​
-
Composition (Less filler, more substance)
-
Execution (Clean landings and/or unique style)
-
Variety (of skills and structures)
-
-
Competitors will receive one score based on overall impression out of a possible 10.0 points.​​
FINALS | AUG 18TH
BIG TRICK ROUND
​

Top 5 competitors qualify
-
Competitors will perform one big trick using the any part of the field of play
-
They get three attempts to land their trick
-
Attempts in rotation
-
Each competitor makes an attempt until all have gone and then the next set of attempts begins​
-

Tricks are judged on the following criteria:
-
Difficulty (Scale, Progression, Obstacle Interaction)​
-
Execution (Clean landings and/or unique style)​
-
-
Competitors will receive one score for each attempt based on overall impression out of a possible 10.0 points.​​

Only the best of 3 attempts counts for an official big trick score
-
Scores from all 3 days of competition are added together to determine the final ranking
